Consultation # 7

Lucky number 7 maybe?

I doubt it.   I’m not optimistic anymore.   I think #5 is about the best I’m going to do unless I decide to go with #2 because I don’t want to go out of town.   #5 is only in Beverly Hills so its not that far, and it’s closer to my family who I plan to impose on during the immediate recovery period so it will probably make more sense to go there.   I’m just not sure how I’m going to get home again and then get back there for checkups.   Tedious.  

Anyway, #7 tomorrow at the crack of dawn.   Then I’m taking a break for a while unless I can think of someone else to go see.   The only one I still want to see is LoMonaco in Texas.   I just can’t decide if its worth it.   I can’t even figure out how I’d manage Beverly Hills.   I seriously don’t see how I could do Houston.  

And then there’s Mexico, where the procedures cost about a fourth of what they cost here, and since I expect to have zero insurance coverage for this, that might be a consideration.   Except – seriously?   Go to a foreign country where I don’t speak the language much?   A country I don’t even like, where the last time I was there I told myself that next time I got the urge to go to Mexico I’d go to Florida instead?    There are good doctors in Florida who are a lot cheaper than Southern California.   Maybe I should take that seriously.
